Hi everyone!!, missing you all !! I hope you joined me for Jo Wickes this morning. Hi is doing an amazing job, keeping us fit. If not, try and get out in the garden today for your own fitness activities and try timing them like I suggested with a stop watch.
Just as a reminder, there are lots of Literacy activities to do on J2e based around the King who banned the Dark. For those of you who are a little unsure of the story, I have added synopsis onto J2e in shared files and a speaking version of the story on Jigsaw.
The written activities are>
- An innovated story based on the original, you only need to change one or two things.
- A front cover for your story
- A blurb for your story
- A poster to sell your story
- A book review of the story
- An argument /debate (Should the King have banned the dark?
- Create a Comic Strip from your story or the original story (you can do this on seesaw also)
- Write a Newspaper Report about the day the King Banned the Dark
- Write a diary entry (use a character in your story or the king, or a villager)
- Write a radio script. (Pretend you are the King being interviewed) You can record this on seesaw.
Maths activities include:
- Data activity/answer questions and create a graph on J2e
- Mixed Maths Questions activities
- Multiplication
- Division
Don't forget all the ideas for role play activities at home, like the shop and the cafe..
