Hello everyone and thank you for your hard work today. I really enjoyed reading your stories and seeing all your hard work. Please message me through J2e if you need any help 👍👍
Spellings
Choose 8 spellings every week . Get someone at home to test you ! Practise using them in sentences and save them in J2e for me to have a look at 😀😀
Just to let you all know , I have posted some Literacy and Numeracy work on J2e for your children to work on . The Writing activities are based on the story that we have been reading. The King who Banned the Dark. Your child,s log on on code should be in your pack with instructions how to access the shared files, if they are unsure. The Maths work covers a variety of numeracy skills and I will add new challenges , a step at a time. There are also National test practise papers for reading and Numeracy for your child to access on the school website. Your child can access Sumdog for other Maths challenges.( Codes included in the pack) and also use their sumdog username and passwords to access Oxford Reading Buggy. This is a great resource and allows the children to answer questions on the books they have read. Please could your child also read their reading books at home daily if possible and practise their handwriting , which they have been making such fantastic progress at. Any work your child does on J2e can be saved in their own personal files and I can mark and comment on it for you and your child to see.
I wish you all well and am looking forward to reading the children,s work.
I will keep you updated on any further developments as they arise.
Please all stay safe and well.
Kind wishes from Mrs Rees
